Although the main hurdle of Level 4 lockdown has finally been crossed, we’re still in Level 3 for the next week (at a minimum!). With the recipe rotation looking repetitive and the novelty of cooking at home starting to wear thin, we’re looking forward to letting the professionals take over.
We’ve put together a list of 5 of our local favourites and what they’re offering below, and what we reckon you should pair it with. All orders placed before 12pm will be delivered that evening (Blenheim urban), $10 flat rate delivery fee applies on all orders under 6 bottles.
Fully booked for this week, Arbour at Home has returned with a bang! Next bookings are available 8th & 9th September.
Let Bradley and Liz guide you in a home cooking experience where all the prep work has been done. We recommend the Clos Henri Pinot Noir 2017 as a wonderful compliment to the glazed lamb shoulder.
2. Scotch Wine Bar
The team at Scotch have put together ‘Snack Boxes’ – a selection of delectable treats for four people.
Order by 12pm for same day delivery, and while you’re at it, pick up a bottle of wine to pair. Choose from their home delivery selection, or pair with a bottle of our Bel Echo Pinot Noir 2017.
3. Chateau Marlborough/ Quench Restaurant
Family style, heat & eat meals offer the ease of takeaway while still keeping it healthy.
Maree, Restaurant Manager, has put her own spin on a selection of plates through their Level 3 menu, h(Eat). We recommend pairing the herbed butterflied chicken with a bottle of the Clos Henri Sauvignon Blanc 2019.
Menu options range from $12 – $55, with starters, mains and dessert.
Raupo are opening this weekend with a Father’s Day centred menu, offering their traditional roast and dessert Friday through Sunday. As a simple and easy dinner, you can’t look past your classic roast, and we know the team at Raupo will always deliver it at the best quality!
Pair with the Petit Clos Pinot Noir 2019 for the ultimate comfort food evening.
5. Cork and Keg
One of our team’s favourite post-work stops, the Cork and Keg have launched their entire menu into the takeaway sphere. With simple call and collect, delicious pizzas and Renwick’s best butter chicken are at your fingertips. We recommend pairing the Lamb Saag with our Petit Clos Pinot Noir 2019.
6. Karaka Kitchen
Offering Marlborough’s best coffee and fresh salads, Karaka have expanded the range to frozen meals and fresh to order salads & soups, offering a quick, healthy and easy alternative to your standard takeaway.
Enjoy the Moroccan lamb tagine with our Clos Henri Pinot Noir 2017 for the ultimate stay-at-home cosy Friday night in.
