Damien is the face of Clos Henri in Marlborough. Together with the Bourgeois family, Damien brought the best of his French winemaking heritage to New Zealand to be the on-site winemaker of Clos Henri. His passion, enthusiasm and attention to detail instill great dedication and commitment from his successful young team.

Day after day, Johann looks after the ferments in the winery and carefully ages the wines until they reach their best expression. He also prepares the orders going all around the world. If you can’t find him in the winery, he will be running in the Marlborough hills or lending a hand to plant some natives with his family.

Lara looks after the sales and marketing as well as assisting Johann and Damien with the winemaking. Her love for every aspect of wine comes from long, hot summers spent tending the vines and cool autumns caring for the ferments in the winery. Passionate about organics and biodynamics, it only made sense for her to find her way to Clos Henri.
