CLOS HENRI NOMINATED FOR WINE ENTHUSIAST WINE STAR AWARDS
Marlborough, New Zealand - Clos Henri Vineyard is honoured to be nominated for Wine Enthusiast’s Wine Star Awards in the category of ‘New World Winery of the Year’. The Wine Star Awards are Wine Enthusiast’s prestigious celebration of the wine industry both in the United States and globally.
Every year, Wine Enthusiast nominates the most influential members of the wine, spirits and beverage industry for the annual Wine Star Awards. "We are thrilled and immensely humbled to be nominated" said Arnaud Bourgeois. "While we are certainly proud of this recognition, we are extremely grateful to our dedicated team that share the vision and values of the Bourgeois Family as we are all working toward the same goal."
Clos Henri was established in Marlborough, in 2000 by the Bourgeois Family, 10th-generation vigneron family from Sancerre, France. Clos Henri wines are known for their elegance and complexity, celebrating their unique terroir and showcasing Sauvignon Blanc as an enhancer of sense of place.
“The winery is credited with improving the overall quality of wines from Marlborough and helping to make the region synonymous with exceptional Sauvignon Blanc”, stated Wine Enthusiast. The vision for Clos Henri, set by the Bourgeois Family 20 years ago was clear and remains unchanged.
“We are privileged to farm some of the best soils in the Marlborough region and work hard on refining a unique style of viticulture that will enhance the character of our ‘Clos’ by crafting organically grown Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir that express finesse, minerality and ageability.”
Yours Sincerely,
Damien Yvon,
General Manager and Head Winemaker
